Qual	1st	"Pilot" won the 52-dog Qualifying on 2/14/04 at the Sagehens Field Trial. Melanie Foster reports that Pilot was in good shape after two series, and only 12 dogs were called back to the third series--Pilot won on her water marks and was the only dog to "go out and plant her nose on the long memory bird." Congratulations, Pilot!
		Dixie's Good Friday MH took 1st in the qualifying stake at the Mobile Amateur Retriever Club's March 12th -14th 2004 field trial. Friday was handled by Glenn McElroy & is owned by Kitty & J. Y. Smith. See Photo

		Velo's Sassy Southern Belle, (Dam Velo's Daredevil Sally), owned by David and Dawn Day, trained and handled by Darrin Morman received a second place in the Qualifying Stake at the Wolverine Retriever Club Fall AKC Field Trial on September 23, 2001. She was whelped on October 27, 1999. She is qualified all-age at 23 months old!!
		Deerwood's Rambling Riley (All Age Qualified!) placed 2nd at the Metro Alliance field trial at age 26 months.

Derby	1st	Firemark Cajun Bonfire, "Trouble", wins the 37-dog Derby at the Klamath Falls, Oregon Derby on June 1-3, 2001 by not putting a foot down wrong, beating numerous dogs on the National Derby list in tough West Coast competition. "I was fortunate to handle "Fri" in the Atlanta Retriever Club's hunt test that was held in Moreland, GA the weekend of Nov. 22nd-24th, 2002. 	Firemark Prepare for Takeoff MH ** finished her Master Hunter title to become the first MH Speaker kid! She titled at the Monterey Bay hunt test in February, 2002 the weekend she turned 2 1/2 years old!
	TopBrass Cut's Like A Knife MH, AXJ, OA, WCX, CGC ("Sabre") earned his Master Hunter title 8/31/03, after running NADAX agility the previous Friday evening and earning three qualifying scores, one of which earned a second place. His Master Hunter career started a little rough, but after earning one leg last fall, he went 4/4 this summer. Sabre can be seen in the 2004 GRCA calendar, where he will be the October photo. His picture is also one of five being used in the GRCA magazine to advertise the calendar. His owner, Barb, is very proud of Sabre and his accomplishments!
	River Ranch Golden Boy MH (Rosehill's Mr. Speaker x River Ranch Grace with Style) received his MH title October 5, 2003 at Alamo Retriever Club in Hutto, Texas. River is 3 � years old. We are elated. Not sure what I will do with him now, for he is too young to retire. Maybe Upland, maybe agility. One thing I do know is I am truly proud of his performance. It has been superb. 	Firemark Cajun Bonfire MH *** (also a NAHRA Grand Master Hunting Retriever) earned his MH last month in Southern California!
	"Trouble" MH is the second Master Hunter from the Speaker x Pony litter, and with two other littermates that have 4 MH legs, we are expecting to do some celebrating about this litter in the spring that will hopefully produce FOUR Master kids! Trouble was qualified all-age at 2 years old and has been tuning up to run with the big dogs. Though he already has an Amateur JAM under his belt,we'll be anticipating points next year! Trouble is all owner/amateur trained)!
	Firemark's Flamin' Phoenix MH finished his Master Hunter title which makes him the FOURTH Master Hunter from the Speaker x Pony litter. He is owned/trained/handled by Lowell Mason.

NAHRA
GMHR	GMHR Firemark Cajun Bonfire** (Speaker x MHR Phoebe's Prize Piponia CDX MH AX AXJ WCX, whelped Aug 1999) finished his NAHRA Grand Master Hunting Retriever title March 24, 2002. This required passing 15 tests that are approximately equal to the AKC Master Hunter requirements with the addition of trailing, quartering, and sit to flush! Trouble is just over 2 1/2 years old and is possibly the youngest Golden GMHR in history! Trouble is owned by Laurna Hammond.

	SHR SR Fireside Snap N Crackle JH (OTCH gunnabe!) finished his NAHRA Started Retriever title on 12/9 at the Mid Atlantic field test in Cheltenham, MD, despite icy waters and four inches of snow on the field. Owner Maggie is very proud of her 2-year-old!

	HRCH Sunny Dawn's Up On The Rooftop JH, aka "Nick", and owner/handler Evaretta Tibbs completed their HRCH title at the Retrievers Unlimited event on October 13, 2001. MACH	Big news from Wisconsin! On Sunday, Jan 30, 05 at Oshkosh, Wi., "Beats", daughter of Speaker/Flicker, (June 01), completed her MACH title. Only 9 months after finishing her MX and MXJ, Beats got her 20th Double Q, making her a MACH. We are so proud of our girl, especially because she just became a Champion Tracker in October!!! All this and the VCD 2 at the tender age of 3. She is a joy to train, and a joy to run with. Her consistancy is one of her finest attributes. Right now she is diligently working at the next goal, the Utility title. This spring she will finish her JH and move on to Senior. Her versatility goes beyond my wildest dreams. MXJ	Benden's X-Linked To Please AX, MXJ, NAC, NGC, FDX, finished his MXJ (Master Agility Jumper's title) on Feb. 9, 2003. The NAC and NGC titles are NADAC agility titles that he finished Sept. 21, 2002. They are Novice Agility Certificate and Novice Gamblers Certificate. Owner, Kim Nelson.
	Topbrass Cut's Like A Knife ("Sabre") MH, MXJ, AX, WCX, TDI, OAC, NJC, NGC, TGN. Owned by Barb Farrell. Earned his four NADAC titles and his MXJ title during the Spring 2004 trial season. He had a wonderful spring season!

	Chasser She's Sophine (Sophi) (Speaker x Bell) entered her first agility trial over July 4 and earned a leg in the Standard with a second-place finish. 	I have a Speaker kid, Gentleman Jack IX (Speaker and Dixie Carolina on My Mind) Whelped 03-06-00. Jack is a wonderful pet and companion. This last weekend we obtained our NA (novice agility), FD and FDX titles (flyball dog and flyball dog excellent) at ST Judes Showcase of Dogs. He is a very affectionate dog and loves to say hi to the judges in the middle of his agility runs.
