"We have "Gus", River Ranch Grace's Ultimate Son.  In the last year we have been busy. We are a little slower than some of his other siblings but Gus has a lot of drive!  On 9/23 Gus received his Started Title (UKC), on Saturday 10/06 Gus finished his Obedience CD Title and took 2nd place.  We have passed 3 out of 3 Junior Hunt Tests and plan to title him the weekend of November 3rd.  Gus is the puppy that had the great (we are very biased) water entry at 8 weeks and he still loves to make the big splash!  I am hoping that I have caught another water entry on film from his Junior hunt test 2 weeks ago.  It was a land water retrieve, he had to swim the water, climb the bank, hunt up the bird and then re-entry and return with the bird. We did not expect the grand water entry back in with the bird in his mouth! He received a "10" by the judges and gallery! This seems like a really boastful email but it is hard not to be with such a WONDERFUL pup! Thanks again!" Mike, Sherri and Gus Langford

"Our pup, Archie, is amazing. He is from the Speaker x Princess Tequila Monster May 10, 2000 litter. At 2 months he was swimming and retrieving with no problem at all! He is very obedient, understanding all the basic commands at 3 months of age. He learns very quickly and loves little children as well as all other people. He has traveled the East Coast from Assateague Island to The Hamptons. He was adored everywhere, especially the Hamptons... and of course we bragged very proudly of his Daddy and Mommy. Dagmar and Stuart [the breeders] have been wonderful and we have enjoyed so much getting the dogs together to play. Archie loves all animals and people and when going for a walk does not understand why everyone that passes does not stop and fuss over him (most do however, but he wants attention from everyone...haha). Archie is an amazing Golden and we can't imagine any pup as good as him. We will be sending pictures to add to Speaker's Kid Album." Lauri and Jamie Orders

"Our first breeding with Speaker  ( AFC Rosehill's Mr Speaker X Princess Tequila Monster SH) produced 9 outstanding pups. All were outgoing, birdy and bumper-crazy. There wasn't a single shy puppy in the bunch. Several went to working homes, who report that their precocious pups are learning the basics at an amazing rate. One of my pet homes was so impressed with their pup's intelligence that they have decided to go for a CD and will begin formal training to work toward obedience titles. My own pup is a marking machine that loves birds and bumpers. She is even "running with the big dogs"..keeping up with her mother and "uncle", both of whom are hard charging field dogs. A conformation breeder who saw her was equally impressed with her looks and gait-no small compliment for a field breeding. Most importantly, Lorie and Chuck have been wonderful friends and a great resource for us. We couldn't be happier, and plan to bring these two dogs together again!!!" Dagmar and Stuart Sachs

"My first experience breeding goldens has been incredible! The Speaker x Ellie pups appear to be extremely intelligent pups. Most pups were retrieving a puppy bumper and chasing birds around the pen at 5 1/2 weeks of age. Their first trip to the pond was interesting as well. I had one little pup that had a flying water entry at 6 weeks old! She wasn't scared of anything. The pup I kept, Delta, continues to progress and is now learning to sit, stay, and come. Hopefully, we will perfect this is the near future. Best of all, she has a wonderful personality and loves to retrieve. She is looking forward to hunting next fall! "We love Major!!! And he loves life in general and people especially... kids even more! He weighs 20 pounds and is 3 times the size he was when we got him. His favorite food is green grapes, which he rolls around on the floor for fifteen minutes or so then eats gleefully.... He knows his name, comes most of the time, knows sit and down. Next lessons to be on leash, as he is going to Cape Fear trial with us. He retrieves anything you throw for him; also great eye contact! Thanks for everything!" "We are very pleased with the entire litter, very very uniform in looks and abilities. The friend who puppy tested them… raved about them. This woman is a lab breeder who has had litters of her own that have included numerous QQA, and a FC. Also Pat Sadler from Kiowa Kennels came over to see them and was impressed with them also. All are very birdy, not one shied from the live flapping pigeon, and tested very social, well adjusted, and not overly sensitive. My Best to you and Chuck!" Joanne (Breeder)
