MACH Rosehill's Double Hauler,*** ADHF, WCX "Sage"
Congratulations on your MACH, Sage!!!
Sage never made excuses for his impaired vision in his left eye as a residual effect from the radiation treatments for his maxillary fibroid sarcoma; so neither could I. I went to work and made myself be where he needed me to be to give him information to run the courses accurately. Sage never missed a beat and never slowed down. He earned his MACH with a dynamic run at the Franklin Trial in TN and qualified for the 2007 and 2008 Agility Nationals. I have retired Sage so he won't get hurt but he is still part of our team and is the set up dog in the field or on the agility course! Sage is a cancer survivor and a champion in every way!!
In 2005, Sage was diagnosed with maxillary fibroid sarcoma. I was able
to catch it early and after surgery with clean margins and a month of
radiation, Sage is cancer free and has been back running agility trials
with as much intensity as ever. He still does not have any hair on the
left side of his face, but that seems a small price to pay for his life;
and Sage loves his life!
